NOVEMBER 10 – 11 has been promised as a racing extravaganza as the Guyana Motor Racing and Sports Club (GMR&SC) launched its Ignite race meet at the GT Motorsport Hall on Thomas Lands on Friday.
The event promises to be one of the biggest to date for the sport, according to GMR&SC president Rameez Mohamed.
“The programme that we have set out is one which we feel confident will ensure that fans get their money’s worth and racers have an enjoyable weekend.”
Mohamed added that the club has already begun preparatory work to ensure that those touring drivers and riders are accommodated properly.
GMR&SC vice-president Hansraj Singh echoed Mohamed’s comments adding that they are looking forward to a large turnout of local drivers.
