Dear Editor
IT was good to see the REO, Region 4, standing her ground and holding firm with a contractor who is requesting payment before corrective work is done (“Region stands ground as contractor pleads for payment” KN Sept 27, 2018).

Such principled stance must be commended and more action like this would be welcomed from other officials. Kudos to you Madam REO. Let the work be corrected to satisfaction before any payment is considered.
