CITY Magistrate Fabayo Azore on Wednesday released a 42-year-old businesswoman on $65,000 bail for alleged fraud.

It is alleged that Burl Hinds on September 2, 2018, at Stone Avenue, Campbellville, while being solely entrusted by Troylyn Jones with $105,000 worth in clothing to sell and return the proceeds, fraudulently converted same to her own use and benefit.

Hinds, who was unrepresented, pleaded not guilty to the charge and was released on bail. The matter was adjourned until October 24.
