THREE armed men attacked and robbed a family at their James Street, Albouystown, Georgetown home on Saturday, escaping on foot with cash and other valuables.
Reports indicate that the victims were 18-year-old Zoveena Khan, 20-year-old Sudourka Goodhand and 59-year-old Neesha Seepaul.
They were in their yard when the suspects entered, held them at gunpoint and took them into the lower flat of the house, where they were relieved of cellphones, jewellery and cash.
The gunmen then took the women upstairs and robbed two other victims – a 67-year-old pensioner and 43-year-old Nandranie Persaud of cash and cellphones.
The robbery was reported to the police and investigations continue.
