A 12-member jury was on Thursday morning empanelled before Justice Sandil Kissoon in the Demerara High Court for a 2014 attempted murder case which is expected to start on Monday at 09:00hrs.
According to the indictment, the accused Alistair Woolford, a former soldier, allegedly shot Devon Howell with intent to murder him on November 21, 2014, in Georgetown.
The accused is represented by defence attorney Compton Richardson while the state prosecutors are Abigail Gibbs and Mandel Moore.
The state is expected to present several witnesses.
