THE Guyana Amateur Body Building and Fitness Federation (GBBFF) has revealed July 15 as its ‘D-Day’ for the National Seniors ‘Mr Guyana’ Championships with the Parc Rayne Hotel, Rahaman’s Park, East Bank Demerara, set as the battleground.

The Championships will see the Ms Bikini Body being contested along with Ms Body Fitness, in addition to the Mr Guyana 2018.

Athletes are currently undergoing intense training for what is anticipated to be a sizzling competition with the usual big names expected on stage.

As is the norm, corporate Guyana has been slow so far in coming on board the event, according to GBBFF president Coel Marks. However, Fitness Express has always been a mainstay in the arena.

Apart from sponsorship, Marks revealed that everything is in ‘full swing’ and he anticipates a packed programme as well as a large crowd.

Tickets are already on sale at $2 500 and can be purchased from Fitness Express, Space Gym, Buddy’s Gym, Fitness Paradise Gym, Fitness 53 Gym and Body Alive.
