THE recently opened Food Town Restaurant and Distribution Outlet, 266 Newton Street, Enmore, East Coast, Demerara, has partnered with the Lusignan Golf Club (LGC) to host its first-ever golf tournament this Saturday at 12:30hrs.

According to a release from the LGC, the course is in magnificent playing condition as the weather has cooperated and it is expected that a full field of golfers will take part in the competition.

Great food and lots of prizes will be provided by Food Town Restaurant and the owner has offered a special prize of $200 000 in food to any orphanage if a player scores a Hole-in-One during the tournament.

“The golf course is the perfect place to relax with your family and since Food Town Restaurant is all about tasty, affordable food and a fun environment, the partnership makes good sense”, said proprietor Rudy, who decided to incorporate family values, great food and an entrepreneurial spirit to assist anyone, who has a desire to start a food business but does not have the capital or resources to do so on his/her own.
