Registration fee is $4,000 and the Academy runs from 09:00hrs to 15:00hrs, Monday to Friday. Lunch and snacks will be provided for the students. Only the first 70 participants will be accepted.

The Malteenoes Cricket Academy was launched in July 1993 in recognition of the Club’s motto “Our Youth, Our Future”.

MSC’s principal intention is to add to the National grid young, proud, and confident individuals.

The Academy caters for boys and girls between the ages of 6-13 and 14-18.  It will include class room and field work which will provide the training to become cricketers, umpires, scorers, journalists and broadcasters.

Qualified coaches will conduct technical and physical sessions while facilitators will talk on education, social skills, health and hygiene, etiquette, child protection, laws and history of cricket, umpiring and scoring.

The Academy has produced Test players such as Ramnaresh Sarwan, Ryan Ramdass, Narsingh Deonarine and West Indies female Test player, Indomattie Goordial.
