Hours after a suspected bandit was shot dead in a grocery store on Durban Street , another man was fatally wounded in a yard on Bent Street, Werk-En-Rust in the city  following a shootout with the police.

Reports are that the man was being chased by the police and he reportedly opened fire on the ranks who returned fire.

Reports from the scene suggest that the man may have been an accomplice to the man who was killed earlier on Friday.(Leroy Smith)
