Acting on information, police went to the home of a taxi driver of Airy Hall where the motor car , bearing registration  HC 3368, was found parked in front of his house. The car was identified by Pickett as being his property.
The taxi driver told the police that he received the car some five weeks ago “to work and keep” from another man who lives at Columbia village , Essequibo Coast.
Reports are that both  claimed that another man , called “Bull Dog” , brought the car to their home to fix the number plates. The men also claimed that the man asked that they hire someone to drive the said car. They were both arrested by the police.
