An intelligence-led operation by ranks of the Guyana Police Force’s Narcotics Branch Monday morning resulted in the arrest of a 60-year-old labourer with five taped parcels of compressed cannabis.

The illegal substance, which weighed in excess of twenty-seven (27) kilograms, was found hidden in a freezer of the sexagenarian’s Haslington, ECD, home. The suspect is being processed for court today.
