Police are investigating an alleged murder committed on Daniel Nandall, 29, a carpenter of Lalchand Street, Better Hope, East Coast Demerara (ECD), which occurred about 23:15 hrs on Saturday at Better Hope, ECD.

Initial investigations revealed that Nandlall was imbibing with family members when he was approached and questioned by the suspect who subsequently discharged a round at him and fled. Nandall was taken to the Georgetown Public Hospital Corporation and died while receiving medical attention.

His body is at the hospital’s mortuary awaiting a post-mortem examination.
