The 12- member jury for the 2015 murder for which Marlon Callendar stands accused was on Wednesday empanelled before Justice Sandil Kissoon at the Demerara High Court.

Callendar is represented by Everton Singh-Lammy while the state’s case is being prosecuted by Lisa Cave and Mandel Moore who are expected to present 10 witnesses.

According to the indictment, the accused Marlon Callendar allegedly murdered Envil Pollard on January 29, 2015 in the county of Demerara.

The matter will begin on Monday, April 23 at 09:00hrs.
