THE body of a decomposed male in his mid- twenties was discovered floating in the Pomeroon River on Monday morning.
According to reports, the body was seen by a farmer floating next to a boat in a bend of the river.

Ranks from the Charity Police Station were summoned to the scene and they retrieved the body.
Up to press time, the man’s name and address remained unknown. Also, no one has so far come forward to identify the body.
Police are continuing their investigations.
