THE Guyana Oil Company Limited (GuyOil) on Saturday launched the Castrol ‘Actevo’, which is a special motorcycle oil designed for different types of bikes and riding styles.
Speaking at the launch which was held at the GuyOil Regent Street service station, was Marketing Manager, Eric Whaul, who noted that most motorcyclists in Guyana are using regular engine oil in their machines.

But the problem with those oils, he said, is that they only cater for the engine, whereas ‘Actevo’ caters for the clutches and brakes too.
“Anything that comes out from Castrol is a proper product,” Whaul boasted, adding that the ‘Actevo’ will soon be put to the test as his company is sponsoring 20 bikers, including those from the Sonic Hunters Motorcycle Club, at this year’s cross-country Safari.
According to Whaul, Castrol Actevo provides continuous protection, even when the engine is off, as the product is uniquely formulated to do just that.
