THE Guyana Table Tennis Association (GTTA) will hold its Annual General Meeting (AGM) on March 24. The election of office-bearers will also take place at the Guyana Olympic Association (GOA) building, Block XXX Liliendaal Greater Georgetown from 13:00hrs.
According to a release from the association – “Notices of motions must reach the General Secretary not later than March 19”.

Clubs that are registered with the association are entitled to send as many delegates as they desire. However, only one authorised member will be allowed to vote.
The clubs are also reminded to ensure that their annual subscriptions have been paid by March 16 so as to be able to “exercise their franchise”.

The agenda for the day will kick off with: Welcome, before the reading of Minutes,/ Matters Arising, President’s Report, Secretary‘s Report, Treasurer’s Report, Motions, Election of Office-bearers for period 2018-2020, Installation of Office-bearers and Any Other Business.

The current executive is as follows: Godfrey Munroe (President), Dr Pradeep Balram (Senior Vice-President), Jonathan Sankar (Junior Vice-President), Deirdre Edghill (Treasurer), Linden Johnson (General Secretary), Lisa Lewis (Assistant Secretary), Joel Wilburg (Assistant Secretary).
