THE son of a medical doctor was on Tuesday charged with the murder of Hazrat Shaffie, his father’s patient. The incident reportedly took place on Sunday at the doctor’s Temple Street, Ogle, East Coast Demerara (ECD) residence.

Neilson Sinclair, 29, of Temple Street, appeared before Magistrate Alisha George at the Sparendaam Magistrate’s Court and was not required to plead to the charge, which alleged that on the day in question he murdered Shaffie.
