THE upcoming annual Petra Futsal football tournament will feature goodies for the Most Valuable Player (MVP) and a spectator following collaboration with Rose Ramdehol Auto Sales.
The company is the local franchise holder for the Hero motorcycle brand and yesterday handed over two of its Dawn 150 motorcycles as part of its partnership with the Petra organisation.
Petra co-director Troy Mendonca contended that the partnership represents a fruitful investment in the futsal tournament, set to begin this weekend.
“Over the years, Petra has been touting the impact that players and officials from these community teams and the spectators would have had on sport through our small-sided games. This year we have the opportunity to reward the best player of our tournament and a lucky spectator.”
Representative of Rose Ramdehol Auto Sales, Joshua Ramdehol contended, “(We are) Happy to be a part of this tournament.
“We are also very pleased that they would consider us to be a part of it, not just the sponsorship but the impact that they make in football in communities. Hero globally pushes a lot in terms of sport and youth empowerment,” he added.
