THE Guyana Defence Force (GDF) Co-operative Credit Union has embarked on an evaluation of its administrative and operational systems and processes, with a view to implementing changes as deemed necessary.

In this regard, the credit union is collaborating with University of Guyana Government and International Relations Department Head, Ms Donna McKinnon, to produce a long-term business development plan.

According to the credit union’s Vice-Chairman of the Committee of Management, Lt Col Lloyd Souvenir, this initiative is being undertaken in order to provide the Committee of Management with a stronger perspective regarding the current systems and operational procedures, particularly where these may be in need of adjustment, in order to maximise the effective an efficient delivery of services to the organisation’s membership.
