A YOUNG knife-wielding bandit robbed three St. John’s College students on Burnham Basketball Court, Middle and Carmichael Streets, North Cummingsburg, Georgetown on Tuesday.

The three teenagers lost their electronic gadgets, laptops and cash.

Reports indicate that the teens were on their lunch break and were playing at the basketball court at the time of the robbery.

The perpetrator, who was seated on the bleachers, took out a knife and moved towards a 14-year-old and demanded money. The teen allegedly told the robber he had no money and the knife-wielding bandit then ordered the youth to fetch the haversacks of the others.

As he was obeying the command, the other youths then went over to the bleachers where they were startled upon realising it was a robbery.
They were all robbed in the process and the bandit then rode away calmly on a blue bicycle.

The robbery was reported to the school and the Brickdam Police Station as investigations continue.
