CANU intercepts cocaine in frozen fish at CJIA

Customs Anti-Narcotics Unit (CANU) ranks at the Cheddi Jagan International airport(CJIA ) on Tuesday evening intercepted a stash of suspected cocaine concealed in partly frozen fish scheduled for export to the USA.

According to a release , seven persons are in custody and are assisting in the investigation.  A West Bank of Demerara shipping company is currently being investigated in connection with the bust.
