FOUR robbers relieved a 27-year-old man of Sisters Village, West Bank Demerara of his valuables in the wee hours of Wednesday morning in the vicinity of Longden Street, Stabroek at the route 44 Bus Park.

Reports indicate that the victim was proceeding north at 05:30hrs on the pavement along Longden Street, when he was confronted by four men, one of whom was armed with a handgun and another with a knife.

The perpetrators then proceeded to relieve the victim of his valuables before fleeing. A report was made at the Brickdam Police Station and police have since questioned several persons as investigations continue.

Persons in the area where the robbery occurred said that one of the suspects was identified as under the alias “Lil Boy”.
