THE Alliance For Change (AFC) has extended deepest condolences to the family, relatives, friends and colleagues of long-serving City Councillor Junior Garrett who died suddenly on Friday last.

“The party particularly extends condolences to A Partnership for National Unity (APNU) and the People’s National Congress (PNC) on this major loss of a municipal political leader, dedicated worker and activist,” the AFC said in a release.

According to the party, this blow comes shortly after that of another party stalwart, Sandra Adams of Linden. “The AFC stands in solidarity with our coalition political colleagues at this difficult time of mourning and reflection, while recognising the political contributions of Councillor Garrett and his professional work as a respected accountant.”
