SEVENTEEN goals were scored on the second day of the sixth annual Milo schools U-18 football tournament played yesterday at the Ministry of Education Ground on Carifesta Avenue.

In the opening game of the day, Charlestown Secondary drew with South Ruimveldt secondary 2-2. Raymond Bhandu opened the scoring for Charlestown in the 8th minute with Robert Downes doubling in the 21st. However, a comeback effort, started from South Ruimveldt’s Negal Mc Bean in the 25th was followed up by Jamal Nedd in the 41st minute.

Game two was a one-sided affair with Masters Academy drubbing Queenstown 10-0 with Calvin Peters accounting for six of the 10 strikes with goals in the 4th, 8th, 26th, 29th, 34th and 69th minutes. Tyrone Khan in the 16th and 44th, accounted for two more goals while Merriheo Eastman and Isaiah Anderson scored in the 15th and 69th respectively .

Sir Leon Lessons were also winners on day two with Julian Bamfield (4th), Zian Grey (30th) and Shamar Carrington (63rd minute penalty) being responsible for the drubbing of Uitvlugt.
Matches continue next weekend.
