At 21:30hrs on Christmas Eve, this cow ploughed into this car on the No.19 Public Road, Corentyne. Derek Basdeo, owner of the vehicle, in a Facebook post said: “Thank God I was not going too fast and if I was going too slow that cow would have come through the front windshield.” The No.19 Public Road used to be a dark stretch, but it has been decorated with lights since the coalition took office. Clearly from this accident cows do not need lights, but responsible owners.
