FASHION and sport apparel giant, Colours Boutique, continued its invaluable support of the Guinness ‘Greatest of the Streets’ Championship, donating an assortment of team uniforms for each of the seven zones yesterday.

The presentation occurred at the company’s Robb Street location and was conducted by company representative Creanna Damon.
Sixteen sets of uniforms will be handed over to the teams entering the round of 16 stage in the Georgetown edition.
Each team will receive seven shirts, and as many trunks and socks respectively, totalling 336 pieces overall.

Receiving the uniforms on behalf of the tournament was Three Peat Promotions Rawle Welch, coordinator of the event’s Georgetown, East Coast Demerara and National Championships.
Welch, during brief remarks, thanked the company for their vital support, which is integral to the overall and continued success of the tournament.

According to Welch, “The value of this contribution cannot be understated. Colours Boutique must be commended for their continued assistance in the development of grassroots sports. The uniforms add an even higher layer of professionalism to what is the marquee and most anticipated street football tournament and we are exceptionally grateful for the contribution.”

The event resumes tonight at the National Cultural Centre tarmac with the round-of-16 Fixtures.
