ACTION in the COURTS Pee Wee Football tournament was intense yesterday as the tournament continued at the Banks DIH, Thirst Park ground.

For Sophia Primary School, their winning ways were routed when inaugural winners, Marian Academy held them to a 2-2 draw.
Michael Alphonso opened the scoring for Marian in the 8th minute but the prolific David Weeks equalized one minute after. Bradley Walton then returned the power to Marian when he netted in the 23rd . The joy was short lived as Leonard King scored in the 28th.
Mocha needled Victoria thanks to a Jahiem Lewis-goal in the 7th minute while Rovin Henry (2nd) and Jacob Rodney (6th) piloted St Ambrose to a 2-0 win over Smith’s Memorial.
A double by Kishen Humphrey (12th and 22nd) kept Colaaco a winless team when they lost 0-3 to Den Amstel. Arvind Henry added the other goal in the 26th.
Redeemer crushed Grove 4-0, with goals coming from Kevin George (6th, 16th), Nicolas Watts (23rd) and Miguel Alexander(25th), while Enterprise won via walkover against Supply.

Meanwhile, Mae’s and Timheri were locked 2-2 at the blow of the final whistle. Joshua Bentick (21st) and Dhanesh Persaud (29th) netted while Antwoine Denny (22nd) and Keron Williams (28th) made the impact for Timheri.
F.E Pollard steamrolled Soesdyke 5-0 with Safar Stephen (2nd, 4th), Trevon Williams (6th), Own Goal (20th) and Terrence Pearson (25th) making conversions.
Plaisance Orphanage continued their rampage, hammering J.E Burnham 4-0, due to a brace each by Ronaldo Harry (4th, 7th) and Windell Pickell (8th,19th).
Similarly, Saint Angela’s downed Winfer Garden 6-0 via Omarie Nelson’s hat-trick (11th, 20th, 30th) and supporting goals from Tyshawn James (23rd,26th) and C’quan O’Neal (2nd).

Parfait Harmony edged Goed Fortuin 1-0 when Jeremiah Ramotar scored in the 19th minute, while School of the Nations and South Ruimveldt played to a goalless draw.
St. Agnes and North Georgetown produced another draw of the day when Jermaine Crum-Ewing scored in the 20th for Agnes but Jakeel Jackson found an equalizer in the 23rd.
Jacqui Gonsalves’ goal in the 15th was enough to give Stella Maris a 1-0 win over St. Stephen’s, while West Ruimveldt edged St. Margaret’s 2-1. Devon Chance (4th) and Jonathan Andries (26th) scored for the winners. Tyrese Harris had equalized in the 14th.
. Matches will continue next Saturday at the same venue.
