THE annual Enterprise Busta T20 Festival is set to bowl off on October 7.
According to a release from the club, “The main aim of this competition is to promote cricket among the talented youths on the East Coast. Some of the teams expected to participate in this year’s competition are defending champions Enterprise Busta Sports Club ‘A’, Enmore, Lusignan, Fairfield and Golden Grove, just to name a few.”
The competition will feature some top players, the likes of Test batsman Rajendra Chandrika, first-class and West Indies Under-19 all-rounder Bhaskar Yadram, former Guyana senior team all-rounder Zaheer Mohamed, former national youth batsman Kamesh Yadram and current national youth player Pradesh Ballkishun.

Teams desirous of participating in the tournament are asked to contact R. Balram on 667-8277 or R. Mangal on 644-3799 at the earliest, as the drawing will take place on October 1 at the Enterprise Community Centre ground.
The champion team will receive $50 000 and a trophy, while the runners-up will pocket $25 000 and a trophy. There will also be individual prizes for the Best Batsman and Best Bowler in the final.
The Festival is organised by the Enterprise Busta Sports Club, with sponsorship from the Guyana Beverage Company Inc.
