UNDER the theme “Police Youth Development Reform, Refresh, Renewed,” C Division Commander, Senior Superintendent Calvin Brutus and ranks commenced the first ever camp for youths throughout the division.
On Friday, there was a display of all the work done by the youths during their time at the camp at the Cove and John Police headquarters.

The camp, an initiative of the commander, was organised by Community Relations Officer, Inspector Jupiter and staff, as part of the Guyana Police Force Social Crime Prevention Programme.
Some 103 youths are attending the five-day camp, where they are engaged in Bible studies, adaptive leadership, state/government knowledge, child abuse/domestic violence discussion, conflict resolution, disaster risk management and etiquette training.
The training is facilitated by the Police Force membership, civilian professional teachers and probation officers.
