The GRFU domestic season continues this weekend with the GRFU Sevens in the National Park.

THE Guyana Rugby Football Union (GRFU) will resume its domestic season tomorrow with the signature GRFU Sevens tournament.

The tournament, which will feature both male and female aspects, will be played at the National Park commencing at 11:30hrs.
That tournament will be followed by the Trophy Stall Sevens where both men and women will be in action at the same time at the same venue.
Both tournaments will conclude the 2016 domestic season with a release from the GRFU stating inclement weather conditions caused many postponements of tournaments, thus causing the season to extend into 2017.
Following this weekend of action, the Bounty Farm 15s will take centrestage, September 2 to November 5, at the National Park from 16:00hrs.
Meanwhile, training days for the men and women continue with the men practising Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays every week from 15:30hrs to 18:00hrs..
The women will practise on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays every week from 16:30hrs to 18:00hrs.
