Indian High Commission donates books

THE High Commission of India in Georgetown has donated 50 books on various subjects, mainly on religion, to Groenveldt Shiva Mandir, West Coast Demerara, on Friday, July 7, 2017.

High Commissioner of India, H.E. Mr. V. Mahalingam, handed over the books to members of the mandir at a short ceremony organised at the High Commission of India.

The High Commissioner urged the members to ensure that devotees of the mandir make use of the books donated by the High Commission, to enrich their knowledge.
