A driver and porter both of Bartica have been detained by ranks of the Guyana Police Force after a search of their vehicle discovered 473 grams of cannabis inside a spare-wheel.

A police report noted that the search was conducted at approximately 16:30hrs on Monday at the Itaballi Police Checkpoint. They are being processed for court.
