Gaming Authority should launch probe into Superbet operations

Dear Editor,
PLEASE permit me space in your letter column to highlight a problem with Superbet Guyana. I have been a customer of Superbet Guyana since they started operating in Guyana and I must say I’m very frustrated and annoyed at the level of service.
My game of choice is the popular online game, ‘the virtual daily game.’ The game is played by picking one number between 0-32 and placing a maximum bet of $1,000 GYD. If your number is chosen your bet is multiplied by 31. For example, if one were to choose 13 and place a bet of $1,000 GYD, and 13 are chosen, that person would have total winnings of $31,000 GYD.
Editor, this morning while I was playing as I usually do, I encountered the strangest thing. I chose a number and placed my bet and that number wasn’t chosen, so I went on to make another bet. I wanted to choose the number 28 but when I tried to select the number, it was unavailable. At first, I thought it was an error on the website or maybe as a result of the poor internet services we have in Guyana. I refreshed my page and went through the process again and to my amazement, the same thing occurred. Needless to say, the number 28 won. I then called the Superbet Guyana head office and spoke to a customer service representative and related my problem, she, in a very rude manner, stated, “that is how the game works.” I tried to explain that I’ve been playing this game for a while now and I’ve never encountered this problem; she however maintained her position that is how the game works and further stated all our agents know this.
I am not an agent of Superbet Guyana; I play via their website in the comfort of my home. The issue here is that the company has no rules or terms and conditions online of how the game works, and what are the guidelines. Terms and conditions and game rules are common components of such facilities as Superbet Guyana. I am a subscriber of many other online sports and game-betting websites and each game contains a section with the rules and terms and conditions.
After speaking with the customer service representative, I went to an agent and related my problem and the agent informed me that this is a new feature of the game. The agent said that you were unable to choose the number, because that number has met the quota of persons who can choose it. I must point out that the agent himself was unaware of what the quota was. Again, this is not in keeping with standard practices. I therefore take this opportunity to call on the Guyana Gaming Authority to launch an investigation into this matter.
Regards
Abdul Junior
