FOOD for the Poor, (Guyana) recently donated seven computer training kits to seven primary schools in the Rupununi, Region Nine.

The training kits have already been installed at Karasabai, Macusht and St Ignatius Primary Schools, while kits to the Sawariuau, Aranaputa, Aishalton and Achiwib Primary Schools are expected to be installed shortly.

Information Technology Manager Orin Matthews and Field Officer Compton Giddings, were tasked with the responsibility of installing the computer training sets. In addition to the computer training kits, the Karasabai and Macusht Primary Schools were equipped with solar- powered energy. Located in Lethem, St Ignatius primary receives power from the region.
