NORTH Georgetown were in fine form on Sunday when the Ministry of Public Health (MoPH)-sponsored Milo Under-18 football competition continued at the Ministry of Education ground. The North Georgetown side won 10-0 against Central High, with Nehemiah Gomes scoring five times (9th, 21st, 28th, 56th, 58th), while Ruben Miller had a brace (36th, 62nd).
Marcos DeLima (38th) and Brandon Solomon (39th) were also on the score sheet.
Game two had School of the Nations through Benjonel Parkes (55th,,67th), and Andy Parkes (64th), whipped Dolphin Secondary 3-0.
St George’s in game three had to fight for their win against Mae’s Secondary, with that game ending 3-2.
Oren Williams 45th minute strike coupled with Anthony Pierre’s brace (7th, 67th) ensured that their side emerged victorious as Diego Britton (34th) and Darshan Persaud (56th) tried valiantly to push their side ahead.
Tutorial High overcame Queen’s College 2-1 in the final game of the afternoon, thanks to a Zion Gray brace (29th, 35th), while Gaven Houston (25th) was able to ink his name on the scoresheet.
