THE Guyana Police Force has issued a wanted bulletin for Keon Ashby and ‘Waynie’,also known as ‘Shark’,who are wanted in connection with the murder of eight-month-old Romain Seth, who was killed when a house at Lot 462 Kaneville, East Bank Demerara, was torched last month. Anyone with information that may lead to the arrest of these two men are asked to contact the police on telephone numbers 227-2128, 226-1389, 226-7065, 225-6411, 225-2227, 225-0575, 911 or the nearest police station.

Ashby’s last known address is Kaneville, EBD, while ‘Waynie’ resides at Diamond, EBD. Reports indicate that the fire started around 02:30 hrs on January, 23, 2017, after a teenager in the neighbourhood and his friends threw “fire balls” into the house in which the infant and his family were sleeping.
According to information, a gang which includes a teenager, reportedly accused the toddler’s grandmother of ‘snitching’ on him and his gang to the cops, resulting in the lawmen raiding the neighbourhood frequently for guns and drugs.
The baby’s grandmother, Michelle Menezes, believes that the fire was retaliation for a report she had made to the police, after finding a gun stashed in a tree in her backyard, allegedly by the youth. The suspect, along with other villagers, used her yard as a short cut to get to another street.

Menezes said that after she had reported the matter, the police started raiding the place and eventually she started getting threats from the young man and his gang.
