A bandit was fatally shot by a businessman shortly after 15:00hrs on Friday at Agricola on the East Bank of Demerara.
Reports are that the man and an accomplice were on a motorcycle at the time when they confronted the businessman.

The man’s accomplice fled the scene and police were scouring the bushes in the area in search of him .
Persons reported that the men were seen earlier on Friday riding along the East Bank Demerara Public Road.
Police investigations into the incident are ongoing .
