Teen kills man during argument

A 17-YEAR-OLD lad is in police custody following the murder of a Barima, North West District (NWD) farmer.

Junior Moses, 44, was stabbed to death at Ela Landing, Barima, by a 17-year-old male. The duo was consuming alcohol when an argument erupted between them.

At approximately 18:40h, the teenager armed himself with a knife and stabbed Moses once to his abdomen and escaped.

The farmer was taken to the Mabaruma Hospital, where he was pronounced dead on arrival. The body is presently at the hospital’s mortuary, awaiting a post-mortem examination.
