A future doctor on the catwalk

SHELLON Massiah is truly a sight for sore eyes. This young beauty who struts he stuff on the runway with the ease of a professional has managed to capture the attention of all the big names in the industry, and is on the verge of being the next big thing in the fashion industry internationally.
But though pageantry and fashion may close to this youngster’s heart, she still thinks it is important that beauty should be coupled with wisdom and intelligence to create the perfect concoction for a bombshell diva.
Currently a second-year medical student at Texila University, Shellon aspires to become one of the best cardiologists Guyana has ever had. So, in a few short years, she will be modelling her scrubs in the day, and her designer pieces by night.
Her favourite quote is: “Do not go where the path may lead you; go, instead, where there is no path, so that you can leave a trail.” Besides modelling and medical school, Shellon enjoys baking, babysitting, reading and going on long nature walks.
