IN recognition of the demand for ease of access, Guyanese-owned air carrier Fly Jamaica opened its first ticket office on 84 Carmichael Street, Georgetown. With the advent of this Georgetown office, Managing-Director of Fly Jamaica Airways, Roxanne Reece, noted that the air carrier now has two offices in each of its areas of operation, that is, two offices in New York, two offices in Toronto, two offices in Kingston,Jamaica and now two offices in Guyana.
The Managing-Director also stated that this office was established in Georgetown to allow patrons to be able to readily access the services provided by the airline. Reece stated that the office at the Eugene F. Correia (Ogle) International Airport will still be operational and accessible, especially to those patrons from the East Coast of Demerara.
“We are very pleased today to open this office to offer our customers the comfort of being able to access us more easily,” she stated.
Speaking to the Guyana Chronicle, Chief Executive Officer of Fly Jamaica, Paul Reece, noted that the airline is always committed to providing its customers with the best service and the establishment of the office is a testament to this.
Providing patrons with the freedom of having two free, checked bags and one carry-on on their flights coupled with their travel destinations to Kingston, Jamaica, New York and Toronto Canada- are all attributes of Fly Jamaica that the CEO noted gives this company an edge above their competitors. He added that the company engages in training for all of its staff to be better equipped to serve customers.
This Georgetown office is the second office of the air carrier, in addition to the office at the Wings Aviation Hangar, Eugene F. Correia (Ogle) International Airport. The office will be opened from 08:30hrs to 16:30hrs daily, from Monday to Saturday.
