CARL Anderson Braithwaite was on Monday sentenced to nine months imprisonment when he appeared at the Georgetown Magistrates’ Court, before City magistrate Dylon Bess for stabbing an 11-year-old boy.Braithwaite pleaded guilty to the charge which stated that on September 15, 2016 at the Avenue of Republic, Georgetown, he stabbed the young boy, thereby causing actual bodily harm.
According to the prosecution facts, the defendant is in the habit of stabbing persons. On the day in question the young boy was walking along Robb Street, when he was approached from behind by Braithwaite who dealt him three stabs about his body.
The Magistrate instructed him to refrain from the bad habit.
