IN their second game of the Centrobasket U-15 Championships, Guyana fell to the Dominican Republic in tragic fashion when the Spanish side demolished them by 106 points in a game that finished 118-12. The first quarter saw Guyana only scoring 1 point while being unable to stop the Dominican Republic side from scoring 28.
It was much of the same in the second quarter with Guyana scoring 6 points while their opponents scored 21 taking the first half score to 49-7.
The Dominican Republic simply continued their dominance while stuffing any offence from Guyana to finish the game with 118 to Guyana’s 12.
The team will face Trinidad and Tobago today at 17:45hrs. It is hoped that in this game a better showing is produced by the local boys,
