THE Annual Youth Camp organized by the Guyana Police Force in collaboration with the Guyana Association of Women Police will be held from today to Friday at Camp Madewini on the Soesdyke/Linden Highway.More than 175 children, between ages nine and 14 who were selected from the Force’s youth clubs and scout groups will be participating in the camp, which is being held under the theme: “Developing youths through community projects, discipline and teamwork”.

The campers will be involved in craft work, educational talks, road safety exercises, religious teaching, games, and an exhibition to showcase their acquired skills, among other activities.

The camp, which has received the full blessing of acting Police Commissioner David Ramnarine and his administrative team, will be managed by Woman Senior Superintendent Maxine Graham with assistance from a number of other police ranks, including members of the Guyana Association of Women Police and significant support from the Divisional Commanders.
