Trophy Stall on board with Champion Jockey, Trainer trophies

THE 10th Annual Guyana Cup/50th Anniversary Jumbo Jet Horserace meet scheduled for this Sunday will be the biggest tournament yet, due to an increase in sponsors. The event will commence at 12:00hrs at the Port Mourant Turf Club.Yesterday at his South Road and Bourda Street establishment, Trophy Stall proprietor Ramesh Sunich handed over trophies for the Champion Jockey and Champion Trainer winners for the day’s event.
Sunich told Chronicle Sport it’s all about horse racing in the blood with his father Neville Sunich wearing the crown as a Champion Jockey in his heyday.
Sunich has once again showed his consistency in supporting local sport with trophies coming from his establishment.
Eight races are listed for the day with G$22M in cash, trophies and other incentives dangling in the air. Coming on board with the sponsors was Colours Boutique at a presentation ceremony held a few days ago at its Robb Street location.
Among other sponsors on board so far are Hand-in-Hand Insurance Company, Banks DIH Limited, B.M Soat Auto Sales, Jameel Bar and Entertainment Lounge, the Muneshwar Store and the Hyper Malt beverage company.
