Police on Monday arrested a mother and her two children following the death of a Belle West, West Bank Demerara man who died after a savage beating close to his home.

Dead is 31- year -old Yugehswar Shiwcharan, called “Sharukh Khan”, a father of two of Lot 485, Belle West Housing Scheme, WBD.

Reports are that Shiwcharan suffered from seizures and last Monday night (July 04), following an attack, he became delirious and entered the yard of his neighbour.

His brother, Maheshpaul told this publication that his brother “trip out” and was beaten about his body by two young ladies and their brother after he entered their yard.

The injured man was rushed to the West Demerara Regional Hospital while the matter was reported to the Wales Police station. Shiwcharan succumbed to his injuries on Sunday night while police visited the home of his assailants on Monday morning and arrested the two female siblings and their mother. The hunt is on for the  brother.
