NINE students – five females and four males were apprehended on Wednesday afternoon after Police descended on a building in Diamond, East Bank Demerara.Police said none were caught in a compromising position, but they were identified as students from Central High School. They were taken to the Diamond/Grove Police station where their parents and school officials were contacted.

Investigations into the reason the students were not at school and out of the city are being addressed by the relevant authorities.
The students were reported to have frequented a particular house in Diamond.
