POLICE are likely to issue a wanted bulletin for the man who allegedly beat his reputed wife in the face with a gun two Thursdays ago at her Kuru Kururu home, just off the Soesdyke/Linden Highway.Police Public Relations Officer, Jairam Ramlakhan told the Guyana Chronicle late yesterday that the suspect is still at large, since the police have not yet been able to locate him.
The woman, Natasha Harry, of the Carnegie School of Home Economics, is reportedly recuperating from the injuries she sustained when she was savagely beaten by the assailant during a heated argument.
Reports are that following the beating, relatives of the 31-year-old who live nearby found her lying on the floor and bleeding profusely from the face.
On seeing her condition, they rushed her to the Diamond Diagnostic Centre, but she was later transferred to the Georgetown Public Hospital GPHC.
