THE West Indies will host India when they travel to the region for a total of seven weeks. During this period the two teams will play a four-match Test series and two practice matches from July 6 to August 23. The announcement came yesterday from The West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) and the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI),
The four Tests are scheduled to be played in four separate territories inclusive of Antigua & Barbuda, Jamaica, St Lucia and Trinidad & Tobago respectively.
St Kitts is set to host both practice matches.
The first practice match is scheduled for July 9-10 with the second played July 14-16.
The first Test will run from July 21 to 25 in Antigua, the second in Jamaica from July 30 to August 3, the third will be played in St. Lucia August 9-13 with the final Test in Trinidad and Tobago August 18-22.
Head of Operations, Roland Holder expressed pleasure while stating “All venues scheduled to host games are ready to host the visiting Indian team and keen contests are expected.”
