THE WINNERS of the Independence Day Float and Costume Band Parade have been announced, with Digicel collecting some of the main prizes.Head of Marketing, Jacqueline James told the Guyana Chronicle that Digicel was thrilled to have won in three categories.
The company’s float, titled “Phantom of the Arts from whence we came”, was created by Olympia Small Sonaram, who won the prize of Designer of the Year.
“While we are celebrating our winnings, we cannot do so without being thankful to our revellers and supports who have made it possible. Without them, we would not have won. So a big ‘thank you’ to our band, and to All Guyanese for staying true to Digicel, Guyana’s Bigger 4G Network. “
