CHRISTA Marketing Solutions, owners and operators of the popular ‘Visit Guyana’ Facebook page, has announced the official launch of the inaugural ‘Visit Guyana: Lime, Dine and Unwind’ magazine.The first issue will be available for free distribution at strategic locations throughout Guyana as of today, and at various Independence Golden Jubilee events, a press statement said.
The much-awaited magazine, with a circulation of 15,000, was developed in response to a need expressed by visitors and locals alike, to have an easy-to-carry, full- colour magazine highlighting all the best places to eat, relax and socialise in the city of Georgetown.
The magazine, which will be an annual publication, offers rich and relevant content that reflects the diversity of Guyana’s food, the beauty of Guyana’s resorts and the vibrancy of Guyana’s nightlife. The ‘Lime, Dine and Unwind’ magazine will also be on the web at www.limeanddinegy.com and can also be accessed from the “Visit Guyana” mobile App, which can be downloaded from the Google playstore. The app will also be available in June in the iOS app store.
According to the publishers, Chris Rahaman and Stacey Dos Santos-Rahaman, a labour of love does not begin to describe this inaugural edition. The fact that it was published so close to Guyana’s 50th Jubilee celebration was no coincidence, as they thought it a fitting time to showcase Guyana’s amazing resorts, nightspots, restaurants and hotels in a way never before seen. And in their own words: “We welcome you and we hope you enjoy liming, dining and unwinding in amazing Guyana.”
